Microgaming has decided to launch a live dealer studio based on Hugh Hefner’s iconic imagery, the Playboy bunnies.
Microgaming, a world class leader of gaming software and machines, took the risk of developing a live casino inspired by the Playboy Club atmosphere, where dealers are dressed in the company’s signature bunny ears.
Established in 1953, Hugh Hefner’s Playboy empire represents a cornerstone of the American gigolo culture with a 97% global brand awareness, 17 million visitors of the company’s website and 7.8 million Facebook fans. The online gaming presence was just a matter of time.
The joint venture between Microgaming and Playboy has been raising comments all over the web, especially among casino operators where the live casino will become available this February through Microgaming’s official partners. At the moment, the platform consists of roulette, baccarat and blackjack. Playboy’s senior vice-president, Jason Turner, emphasized:
The Playboy partnership with Microgaming is another example of partnering our iconic brand with a best in class gaming provider. We are thrilled that the gaming experience of playing with a live Playboy Bunny Dealer can now extend from our land-based Playboy Clubs to online gaming.
Before the end of 2013, both companies will work together to create real-money video slots also based on the Playboy imagery.
We will keep you posted on the major gambling sites that will include this feature. As spoken by Hugh Hefner, Life is too short to be living someone else’s dream
