Betsson adds new games and increases revenues by 19%

The latest report from Betsson AB shows nothing but increasing profits for this year’s first two quarters, with a 19% revenue increase (compared to the same period back in 2012), and an exponential growth of their game catalogue, now running over 70 video slots from Net Entertainment.

Betsson continues to make investments in order to optimise its operations.

Magnus Silfverberg, President and CEO for Betsson

The Betsson AB group is on a growth wave and has exceeded financial expectations with a massive SEK 1.2 bn only in revenues for the first two quarters of 2013 (19% increase since last year’s). The company’s operating income reached SEK 298.9 m, which represents a growth of 5.4% above that of 2012.

The company took on a serious site upgrade and increased its gaming catalogue with over 150 casino games, updating its video slots section with NetEnt’s latest releases like Fisticuffs and EggOMatic.

Silfverberg emphasized the company’s financial hiatus with its commitment on continually expanding its video slot content, customer service and its new approach towards the mobile platform, adding that:

A successful migration of Betsson.com to the common [mobile] platform was executed. After this, the majority of Betsson’s revenues are generated on the new platform. This has strengthened the mobile offering and enables an advanced further development of the gaming experience as well as cost-efficient operations.

Betsson’s mobile platform is now available to all players, including sports, casino and scratch games with a friendly-user interface in 14 languages (plus including different versions of Spanish for European or Latin American punters), playable from any Android or Apple iOS-based gadget.
