Casino equipment provider Scientific Games has acquired a 100 per cent sharehold in igaming slot manufacturer and software developer WMS and has already commenced the merging process.
Both companies will continue manufacturing casino equipment and will merge their development teams to deliver new gaming content for their most well-known licensees, including Nordicbet Casino.
This constitutes one of the largest gaming acquisitions of this year, and the new partnership will start providing new and fresh gaming content, as well as extending their existing video slot titles to all their licensees.
We may soon find a new range of video slot titles at Nordicbet Casino, from Scientific Games’ famous Barkin’ Mad, Arabian Charms to the extravagant Boogie Nights, among many others.

Whilst Scientific Games started the acquisition process back in January this year, the merger didn’t become official until this week, and the status quo will continue throughout this quarter, with both companies preserving the same leadership team,while dividing the company into two groups, Gaming & Lottery.
