IGT receives ISO certification, once more
IGT, already well-known for its immaculate casino and table games, has received ISO re-certification 9001:2008 from the SGS International Certification Services.
The re-certification applies for the company’s campuses in Montana, USA, and Hoofddorp, The Netherlands. The gaming industry realized we must work together to achieve interoperability to meet our customers’ demands
, stated IGT’s Global Technology and Interoperability Center Manager Allen Liu.
Moreover, the company’s Global Technology and Interoperability Center, responsible for manufacturing the land-based equipment and system integrators, was also granted ISO 17025 re-accreditation from the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation.
Matt LeBranch, Manufacturing Operations Vice-President for IGT commented: IGT’s ISO re-certification is central to the company’s global production and sales efforts because it signifies our commitment to manufacturing excellence, demonstrating efficiency in processes, product design and development efforts as well as customer satisfaction levels.
The ISO re-accreditation and further implementation has enabled and will continue reinforcing IGT’s position in the global gaming market on all its internal processes, from quality management, design, development and manufacturing.
At the moment IGT owns five private testing rooms and 24-hour surveillance service for licensees that ensures the quality overall and confidentiality. The ISO standard will also apply to its online games development and technical support to its licensees, including Mr Green and William Hill Online casinos.
