2015 was another exciting year for NetEnt and their numbers prove it. The leading online casino software provider published their financial report for the final quarter of 2015 yesterday, and they have have achieved record figures for both profit and revenue.
The numbers neatly encapsulates the ongoing success of one of the leading game designers currently in operation. Revenue for Q4 is up a whopping 34% to SEK323.1 million ( 34 million) while operating profit jumped by an even more significant amount - 51.6% - to SEK121.8Â million ( 12.8 million). Profit after tax has risen from SEK115.7 million ( 12.24 million), a leap of 50%.
It was a busy quarter for NetEnt, with the rising revenues and profits reflecting a successful period, which saw them sign 14 new license agreements with new casinos while existing partners also launched 16 new brands, all of which host NetEnt games. Further strides were made across the pond where customers in New Jersey and beyond went live with games and in the UK, Coral launched a new stock of Netent games to their live casino.
The company slows no sign of slowing down in 2016, with plenty of new business in the pipeline and five new slots either released or due for release in the first quarter of the year. These releases include long anticipated titles like ‘rock slot’ Guns N’ Roses and feature rich car them game Drive: Multiplier Mayhem.
The record Q4 figures have been released at the same time as NetEnt’s end of year numbers, which record an annual revenue increase of 33% and a 53.5% rise in operating profit as the company agreed 43 new license agreements and began working with 37 new hosts over the course of the year.
NetEnt CEO Per Eriksson spoke of his delight at the new developments at the company and highlighted success in mobile gaming and the UK casino market as being key drivers of growth in 2015. He expects more of the same in 2016 as the gaming giant continues to expand.
