The Money Game

In a Nutshell

We have to hand it to the folks at Novomatic, the online slots arm of Austrian slots manufacturer Novoline, they like to call a spade a spade!

Since we’ve yet to find an online slot which isn’t a money game, we’ll have to assume that it might have been a quiet day at the Novomatic creative department when the game was named!

That said, it’s an interesting enough little game and simple too, it’s all about the money after all!

A Closer Look

The Money Game is a 5-reel, 9-payline slot with Novomatic’s trademark double or quits special feature (see below).

The symbols are all connected with the lovely green stuff, including dollar signs, dollar bills, big bags full of dollars…plus 10 through to Ace symbols.

The Wild is a rich looking bounder type, who can substitute for any of the other symbols (except the Scatter) and doubles when substituting as well. Which is nice of him.

Free Spins Features

If you get 3 or more Scatter symbols, a golden dollar symbol, anywhere on the reels, you will get 15 free spins, which can translate to an awful lot of winnings, as they also carry a x3 multiplier.

On top of that you can win more free spins within the free spins round!

Bonus Game Features

There are no other bonus features as such on The Money Game — that would just complicate things!

Special Features

The Money Game also has the signature ‘gamble or collect’ feature which Novoline/Novomatic put on a lot of their games. This is triggered every time you have a win in regular play, where you get the ‘take or risk’ option, which, if you take it, opens up a video poker type screen, where you can double your winning on the last spin if you beat the dealer’s card from one of the remaining 4.

You can continue to double up each time for a maximum of 5 times unless you either lose to the dealer or decide to claim your winnings. You then go back to the main screen.
