Betfair, one of the world’s largest online casinos, have just upgraded their already large gaming database and inked a deal this week with Sweden’s largest iGaming producer, NetEnt, in a unique agreement that will deliver over 70 video slots to Betfair in no time.
It seems nearly impossible for us to imagine an online casino without featuring some of the world’s most famous video slots like Mega Fortune or Hall of Gods, to mention but two. We were wondering what took Betfair so long to finally add NetEnt games to their online catalogue!
Although the agreement was originally announced by NetEnt in mid-August, the deal was finally signed this week by both parties.
Whatever the reason, the wait is over for many (or all) Betfair players, who will be able to enjoy “the entertainment experience that NetEnt’s game portfolio offer,” as Björn Krantz, Chief of GMO and MD at Net Entertainment Malta Ltd, said, shortly after the deal was signed.
Technically speaking, a casino game integration with a new software supplier may take weeks in most cases, but in the case of  Betfair it’s happening in just a matter of days. “I am very pleased about the great collaboration between NetEnt’s and Betfair’s integration teams which resulted in a quick launch,” said Krantz.
Chances are Betfair will soon start adding some of NetEnt’s most famous video slots, including the likes of Starburst and Gonzo’s Quest, though the entire NetEnt catalogue might be available for all Betfair players in a just few days.
