Scandinavian-based online wagering site Mr Green have inked an agreement with the software developer Yggdrasil to provide the former with new gaming content for their casino library.
Starting out with 25 casino games — namely scratch cards, lotto games, keno and video slots — the entire Yggdrasil gaming repertoire will be added to Mr Green’s desktop platform in no time.
Yggdrasil have been on our radar for some time now and are producing some of the industry’s most interesting games,
commented Mr Green’s Head of Casino Andy Braithwaite, who praised the deal, remarking that
we can’t wait to offer our players games from their roadmap.
For newbies unfamiliar with Yggdrasil Gaming, this rather-biggish software developer was founded in 2013 by Fredrik Elmqvist, formerly the CEO of Global Market Operations at — guess where? — Net Entertainment. This market newcomer came up with an innovative online gaming scheme by adding new ways to play keno, scratch cards and slots.
In the year since they exploded onto our screens, Yggdrasil have developed some award-winning slots including the Jokerizer and Winter Berries, and have recently signed several deals with some of the largest online betting sites, including Mr Green, to which Elmqvist added:
Mr Green has been a market leader since it launched in 2008 and continuously provides new ideas for site design and marketing. This deal is the first of many that we have planned for 2014.
Finally, the icing on the cake comes in the shape of Mr Green’s “Dream a Little Green” campaign, which this week is offering players the chance to win a trip to France and taste the best in wine and food, a year of free food and cleaning, and up to 5,000 in cash.
