After the success of its iOS app for Mac mobile devices, William Hill has added a version for Android users that includes live streaming of horseracing as well as in-play.
The Android app, which comes at a time when the iOS version has been downloaded approximately 1.5 million times, is “a significant and important milestone in our goal,” said the director of operations at William Hill Online, Juergen Reutter. He added, “Mobile [gaming] is growing phenomenally quickly and is a fantastic way to engage with our customers anytime, anywhere.”
As a welcome offer, all new and existing customers who download the app will receive a £5 bet, to spend as they like on the app.
In addition to this good news, William Hill also announced that they have signed an agreement with NextGen Gaming, the Australian slots developer. This will add NextGen’s games to William Hill’s repertoire at the British bookmaker’s Vegas Casino. They will soon be available on the iOS and Android apps as well, as they are available in both Flash and HTML5 format.
