Spring has arrived, bringing warm weather and sunny days, and the team of PokerStars is starting the Spring Championship of Online Poker aka SCOOP tournament from 12 to 26 May, 2013.

This 5th edition of the online poker tournament will have 42 events and different tournament styles to allow all players, regardless of their bankroll size, to participate. The event will be featuring Zoom tournaments and Omaha Poker’s Five-Card, Courchevel and High-Low.

A PokerStars’ spokesperson stated in a news broadcast that the 2012 SCOOP was the biggest online tournament series in history […] The 40-event, 120-tournament festival paid out more than $65 million in prize money.

For the SCOOP 2013, PokerStars will spotlight the trio of ‘low’, ‘medium’ and ‘high’ buy-in levels for each one of the matches, in order to allow different bankroll players to play at the tournament’s diverse levels. The tournament will start out on 12 May with a no-limit Hold’em six-max competition, followed by a no-limit Hold’Em tournament.

The SCOOP 2013 will also feature the pot-limit Omaha, Razz, Horse and triple-draw Deuce-To-Seven events, ending on 26 May with a no-limit Hold’em match.  a $109 buy-in for the ‘low’ level, $1,050 for the ‘medium’ one and $10,300 for the ‘high’ level entries.
