A licensing deal has been closed between American-based gaming developer IGT to offer its casino content via the Swedish-founded/Malta-based online casino operator Mr. Green.
The licensing deal will enhance Mr. Green’s online wagering site with IGT’s iGaming content on a single integration through its RGS system (Remote Game Server), allowing both free-play and real-money games for the mobile platform.
IGT’s Interactive Commercial Director Leigh Nissim mentioned on the licensing deal: Mr Green is an operator that places a firm emphasis on delivering a quality gaming experience, so we are extremely pleased to be announcing this extension to our relationship.
Mr. Green has already started the integration process by adding IGT’s Cleopatra, Da Vinci Diamonds, Wolf Run, Cats and Kitty Glitter, optimized for both Android and iOS platforms.
As an extra technical feature, all games from IGT are available for any smartphone and/or tablet for portrait and landscape orientation view, plus have a unique audio enhancement system for mobiles.
This agreement reinforces IGT’s ability to leverage our strong online performance and offer the same great games across multiple channels
, added Nissim after the agreement was signed.
Mr. Green’s Chief Product Officer Markus Aurala remarked that mobile gaming has very quickly grown in popularity, and the key to sustaining this is to offer players mobile versions of their favorite online titles.
Aurala took the opportunity to praise IGT’s continual self-improvement process, commenting that IGT’s leading brands and top-performing mobile games will be a significant tool for us to help drive customer acquisition and loyalty.
IGT has surpassed expectations this year by showing a steady financial growth, reinforced by the re-election of its CEO Patti Hart and for obtaining an ISO certification in the beginning of March 2013.
The company will release a new set of games for the mobile platform in the upcoming months and Mr. Green may certainly take the lead in the European online gambling market with its new and enhanced mobile platform, now offering over 20 games and more than 200 on its desktop site.
