What goes on in the player’s mind? That is the question every member of the online gaming industry wants answered. At LAC 2013, a discussion panel was trying to find answers to this very question. The session was led by an industry veteran Bryan Bailey, who is also the founder and director of the popular Casinomeister portal and forum.
Casinomeister is an often-updated webpage presenting news and offers from the online casino world. The best-known part of the site is definitely their forum, which has a lot of active well-informed members, and where a lot of players find answers to their questions and problems.
We caught up with Brian, who has 14+ years of experience, after the panel to pick his brain for answers to some questions of our own.

Bryan lists forming social links and creating player communities as the hottest current topics. Effective communication between the casinos and players is essential and creates extra value for both parties.
Since there are a lot of spammers and scammers in the cyberspace, players need some tools to separate the bad apples from legitimate offers from real casinos. Bryan suggests that a specific Google search could be players’ best friend. Search for the name of the casino advertised, adding the word “problems”, or “complications” to your search. In case of scam, you will surely find posts in forums and blogs that warn people about the dangers associated with the brand. If the problem search comes back empty, it is likely to be a safe casino.
For this purpose, Casinomeister has created sections on their forum and homepage where players can report bad deals, misleading advertising and withdrawal problems. If members of the Casinomeister team choose to investigate the issue, they will contact the respective casino and try to find a mutually acceptable solution to the problem. If said casino is unresponsive or simply refuses to resolve the issue, it will most likely end up in the Rogue section of Casinomeister.
The Rogue section mostly contains smaller unknown casinos, some of which are complete scam attempts. However, sometimes even well-known brands can be declared rogues, if they fail to explain their reasoning for not paying certain customers or not fulfilling the promises claimed during an advertising campaign or promotion.
