Boomanji
In a nutshell
The Boomanji slot is big, beautiful, loud, colorful and such good fun! As you’d expect from a fireworks-themed game, there is sizzling and crackling galore and the pay outs and free spins are nothing to sneeze at either. Boom indeed!
A closer look
You’ll be immediately enchanted by the stunningly beautiful fireworks graphics. They are just bursting with color, fun and energy. Boomanji itself is heavily influenced by NetEnt’s Starbust, but by choosing this distinctly different theme the BetSoft developers have made sure the Boomanji video slot feels like its own game from the start and really all the way through.
The fun and games theme extends to the design of the control panel on which you choose your coin value (0.02 to 0.5), the number of bets per line (1 to 10) and your pay lines. There are 10 pay lines, adjustable in 6 increments, but since Boomanji is one of those wonderful slot games that pay both ways, that’s really plenty. If you want to maximise your potential pay out, just hit the extra big MAX BET button and get going straight away.
Once you hit spin you’re in for a surprise: The night sky background suddenly becomes very prominent as the symbols disappear. The spin animation does not imitate an ordinary old school reel but shows the columns empty and then refill with symbols. This is great fun which unfortunately comes at the expense of a skill stop feature, but it’s a small price to pay.
The Boomanji slot machine itself is beautifully simple; there are seven different kinds of fireworks which pay from three adjacent symbols. There’s also a wild, a whole crate full of fireworks, which expands to fill the entire reel it appears on. It also comes with a free re-spin during which you can catch another wild and get another free spin.
Free spins feature
There are no scatter symbols or related dedicated free spin rounds in Boomanji, but the expanding wild (a crate full of fireworks) triggers a free spin which can also be retriggered with another wild.
Special features
With internet connections getting faster and coverage getting more extensive, mobile data transfer is not usually an issue anymore, but just in case you would like to slim things down a bit, you can turn off certain animations.
All you need to do is toggle the switch in the OPTIONS menu. The Boomanji slot is still fun and the symbols bounce just as happily on the reels, but the extra shooting star animations that celebrate pays will be suspended. A nice option to have on the go.
