Fairy Land 2 is a highly popular, established slot from Austrian developer Novomatic, with some very simple, yet attractive symbols on the reels.

Frogs, snails, butterflies and more traditional ‘Bar’ and ‘7’ symbols vie with each other across this 5-reel, 9-payline game, accompanied by some traditional-style sound effects.

It has a bonus round where you must safely jump the frog across the river, without falling in or getting eaten by an alligator.

A Closer Look

Fairy Land 2 is simple in its design but loads of fun to play.

You can choose from 1 to 9 paylines, can bet from 1-25 on each line (so max bet is 225). There is no progressive jackpot on Fairy Land 2, and the max payout is 125,000 credits.

The Wild symbol is a chameleon, which substitutes for all symbols except the scatter. The latter is, of course, the frog, 3 or more of which on any reels takes you to the bonus round.

Bonus Features

The bonus round is a whole new feast of fun. Remember the old arcade game ‘frogger’? It’s a little bit like that, as the first screen sees you trying to jump across 5 lines of lilypads to the other side without falling in.

Do that and you’ll not only win between x1 and x250 your bet, but you’ll also be brought to the second screen, where you have to shine a flashlight on some very suspicious looking pairs of eyes lurking in the darkness.

Be careful though – if you light up a frog, then great, you get x25 your bet in that case (up to a maximum of 10 frogs).

However, if throwing your beam around reveals an alligator instead, then it’s back to the main reels for you!

Special Features

If you get combinations of Bar symbols on a payline you have the ‘take or risk’ option, which, if you take it, opens up a video poker type screen, where you can double your winning on the last spin if you beat the dealer’s card from one of the remaining 4.

You can continue to double up each time, or take your winnings, for as long as you like unless you lose to the dealer. You then go back to the main screen.
