Fruit Case
In a nutshell
If you’re the type that likes seeing cute avatars smashed to pulp, Fruit Case slot is your kind of thing.
A revival of slot gaming’s most basic ingredient, fruit, this well-tempered mixture of cute and mean is a nice variation on an originally very basic theme. And just to make it interesting, NetEnt have added the Free Fall and Avalanche features. Check it out!
A Closer Look
Fruit Case video slot has 5 reels, 20 paylines and unites the historic fruit jumble with newer features. The player jumbles fruit and jam jars that are crushed whenever a winning combination comes together. The best word here is cute, the whole game comes with a variety of neat little graphics and loads of colors.
There are the letters A, K and Q that come as jam jars, and there’s fruit making faces, namely strawberries, oranges, lemons and pears. The wild is a fruit case that comes with a x2, x4, x6 and x8 multiplier. It replaces all other symbols except for the Free Fall symbol, which comes with a blender on it. All fit the game very nicely.
The overall design of the Fruit Case slot machine is very clean, with sizeable buttons and a good overview of bets, wins and available cash. The juice factory theme might be a bit overly cheerful to some, but it definitely outdoes the old and rather overused fruit jumble.
Free Spins Feature
The free spins feature of Fruit Case isn’t spins as much as NetEnt’s trademark Free Falls. The Free Fall symbol isn’t a scatter, so you actually need it lined up to get the bonus. Once you’ve got three or more in a line, you get 10 Free Falls. During those a x3 multiplier applies, and you can hit more Free Falls in this round as well.
Bonus Features
The Fruit Case slot comes with NetEnt’s trademark Avalanche feature, which means that winning combinations get squashed and disappear, and more symbols falling down replace them. It’s pretty much like the Free Fall feature, with the important exception that with every Avalanche the wild symbol gets a higher multiplier that then applies to winning combinations that include the wild.
The interesting bit is that this continues with new winning combinations – this means that if the Avalanche gets you a winner, more symbols come down, and there’s a good chance you’ll hit another one right away.
