James Cameron’s highest grossing film AVATAR™ has successfully transitioned onto the world of casino games thanks to IGT, who this week launched two branded video slots based on the blockbuster.
This week, International Game Technology (IGT) launched the branded AVATAR™ games: James Cameron’s AVATAR™ Video Slots and AVATAR™ Treasures of Pandora, both aimed at the land-based casino market and premiering at the Las Vegas’ Global Gaming Expo. The games are scheduled to be made available soon for the online community as well.
Darrel Rodriguez, Chief Creative Officer at IGT highlighted that: We created two games that capture the innovative spirit of IGT, while also reflecting the attention to detail and breathtaking beauty that James Cameron fans would expect.
IGT have tried to evoke the epic journey to Pandora with these MegaJackpots, branded on Twentieth Century Fox’s AVATAR™ movie, where players can experience for themselves a thrilling adventure that promises to disappoint noone. IGT’s Rodriguez added:

On the branded James Cameron’s AVATAR™ Video Slots, players will face the battle between humans and Pandora’s native Na’vi, with customizable options and plenty of bonuses including the Blanshee Wilds, and Arrow Boost multipliers, while earning credits by scouring forests over the course of the game.
As for the AVATAR™ Treasures of Pandora, the game breaks all previous video slot rules with its progressive 7,776 ways to win, a figure never seen before in the entire industry.
