A recent study by SuperData estimates that the market of social casino games is currently worth $1.6 billion, and by 2015 it will have risen to $2.4 Billion.
The study also concluded that compared to the average social gamer, the social casino player spends 1,8 times more money. The players at social casinos annually spend an average of $78 and players of standard social games spend $43 on average.
The USA is the top contributor with $660 million, following the market leader are: Europe, rising Asia, Latin America and Australia.
The number of Facebook users who play casino games is 13%. Compared to the same time in 2011, this segment has grown by 5% while the total number of social gamers has doubled since 2010.
