It is quite common that stars and characters from movies and TV shows get their own slot machine. Today we introduce a slot machine that features all the familiar characters from the History Channel’s hit show Pawn Stars, which has aired in more than 130 countries in 37 different languages.
We met up with Rick Harrison at ICE 2013 Totally Gaming, and asked him a few questions about the new game and life in general.
Rick told us that being famous and having a TV show has really influenced his business in a positive way. Before the show, 50, maybe 100 people visited the pawn shop every day, but after the hit show aired on History Channel, the number of daily visitors grew into thousands.
The TV show, featuring the members of Harrison family and their pawn shop on the Las Vegas strip, is now already into its sixth season; and as a testament to it’s popularity, Bally Technologies decided to create the Pawn Stars slot machine.
