Blue Gem Gaming

Blue Gem Gaming software is perhaps not a name which will be familiar to many, so it’s necessary to outline a bit of history here…

First things first, Blue Gem Gaming casino software was until very recently (around March 2014) known as Sheriff Gaming.

Sheriff Gaming was quite a nice, new little developer based in the Netherlands (Eindhoven to be precise).

In the short time they were around they built up a reputation for flexible and adaptable games in quite a similar way to RTG software, but with perhaps a stronger resume in 3D graphics, great sound and part of the merry band of industry standard-setters that have been bringing us so much joy in recent years, in particular with regard to slots.

These included Gold Raider, The Amsterdam Master Plan, Dr Magoo's Adventure, Mr Good and the 2 popular progressives Pharaoh's Tomb and Fortune Farm – in fact Sheriff Gaming were bringing out something like 40 games per year, a huge number.

Most of these games can still be found at quality online casinos, as can many of the table games they produced as well, so Sheriff Gaming are still very much with us at the time of writing.

That being said, all was not well with the company at least in early 2014, and as noted, they became part of the new Blue Gem Gaming casinos online; in other words, the whole list was taken over.

What changed after Blue Gem Gaming took over?

For the record, the takeover followed financial problems and an investigation of Sheriff’s top level management in the Netherlands, but that shouldn’t take any of the gilt off the gingerbread of Blue Gem Gaming online slots or any of their other games for that matter.

It’s true that some of the online casinos that we recommend (eg. Tropezia and ComeOn!) removed their Blue Gem Gaming slot games, but we are confident that this was merely a temporary measure; the company’s list is too well-developed to be lost to the gaming world indefinitely.

Indeed some of the former Sheriff slots like Las Vegas Fever have simply been rebranded as Blue Gem Gaming slots online, the playability is the same.

In this uncertain world, therefore, it’s crucial that you have a good, impartial guide to the world of gaming.

Our list of Blue Gem Gaming casinos, indeed all our casinos, only get carried on our site when they meet our stringent requirements in terms of gaming choice, payout rates, customer services, payment methods, player feedback and other criteria.

The best Blue Gem Gaming casino online, whatever site that might be, will certainly be listed with us, or turning it on its head, any casino that has been listed that for whatever reason trips up and fails to deliver, will be removed, and only reinstated when we are confident all issues have been resolved.
