Safari Heat is a 5-reel, 9-payline slot from Novomatic, the online slots arm of Austrian slots manufacturer Novoline.
It boasts the same features as the standard Novomatic offerings like Lucky Drink or Book of Ra, though the standard of graphics is somewhat more sophisticated than many of its stablemates, and it also has a ‘coin’ feature (which allows you to choose from 0.5-3 credits) as well as an ‘automatic’ (ie. autoplay) function, things which are not standard on all games from this developer.
A Closer Look
Safari Heat is quite straightforward to play, but hosts some attractive symbols and other graphics.
You can choose from 1 to 9 paylines as with most Novomatic games. The symbols include elephants, flamingos and other safari perennials, and the Wild symbol is a gorgeous looking lion, which substitutes for all symbols except the scatter, AND doubles all wins.
And get 5 Wilds on the reels, you’ll net a whopping 9,000 credits (so, if you bet 10 it would win you 90,000 etc.).

Special Features
Safari Heat also has the signature ‘gamble or collect’ feature which Novoline/Novomatic put on a lot of their games.
This is triggered every time you have a win in regular play, where you get the ‘take or risk’ option, which, if you take it, opens up a video poker type screen, where you can double your winning on the last spin if you beat the dealer’s card from one of the remaining 4.
You can continue to double up each time for a maximum of 5 times unless you either lose to the dealer or decide to claim your winnings. You then go back to the main screen.
